Lavinia is an Actor Trainer and Coach. She specializes in teaching Stanislavsky and the Movement Psychology/Yat Method. She has an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (2015), London where she teaches as a Visiting Lecturer. Lavinia has most recently taught BA Actors at Fourth Monkey Actor Training Company (London) and the Yat Bentley Centre for Performance (California). She is a specialist in Movement Psychology derived from Yat Malmgren at Drama Centre London, a drama school that produced Internationally celebrated actors: Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Anne Marie Duff, Paul Bettany, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy. Here she trained under Tim Robins and taught BA and MA Acting. She initially trained with Master teacher and director, Tom Bentley-Fisher, and was International Director of the Yat Bentley Centre of Performance, UK. Lavinia is Co-Founder of Constructive Interference theatre company and coaches actors individually including actors with disabilities for film, tv and stage auditions. She actively encourages diversity and under represented artists on stage and screen. She has a degree in Playwrighting from the University of Victoria (2001). Lavinia also has a passion for voice and movement.
